A Small Arrival
Baby Dog arrived without ceremony, found the deepest blue blanket, and claimed the quiet end of the night. The crib now runs on soft breathing, warm paws, and the occasional inspection of the ceiling. No speeches were made. The household simply lowered its voices, checked the blanket twice, and agreed that tomorrow could wait until the new little soul had finished sleeping.
Sleep well, little soul.
